LV Reach Community Help Center, alongside ‘He Gets Us,’ hosted a memorable event that brought together current and retired NFL athletes, celebrities, and a community in need. Over 1,500 residents gathered at our community center for a day filled with compassion and connection.

The event featured hot meals from The Salvation Army food trucks and Wahlburgers, with chef Paul Wahlberg manning the grill. Volunteers from LV Reach Community Help Center and ‘He Gets Us’ served in various roles, including check-in, greeting guests, and food distribution. Attendees also received 35,000 pounds of groceries and access to vital resources such as healthcare and transportation assistance.

NFL players, including Russell Wilson and Brandin Cooks, led football-themed activities for kids, while celebrities like Akbar Gbajabiamila and Taylor Lautner distributed meals and groceries. Students from LV Reach Community Help Center enjoyed playing football and taking photos with the celebrities in attendance.

The day concluded with laughter and smiles, showcasing the power of collective kindness to make a lasting impact on the community. LV Reach Community Help Center and ‘He Gets Us’ proved that together, we can overcome challenges and spread joy to those in need.
